Here’s my entry in a contest for an A Shed. I haven’t heard that I’ve won yet, but I haven’t given up hope just yet.<\/p>\n
“If I had a new shed”
\n(to the tune of “If I were a rich man” from Fiddler on the Roof)<\/p>\n
If I had a new shed,
\nYa ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
\nAll day long I’d clean out my garage.
\nIf I had a new A shed.
\nI wouldn’t have to work hard.
\nYa ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
\nIf I had a lovely new A shed,
\nYidle-diddle-didle-didle shed.<\/p>\n
I’d clean out all the clutter and trash and I’d know,
\nWhere all of the yard tools were.
\nA fine tin roof with real wooden floors below.
\nThere would be one long shelf just for my garden stuff
\nAnd one for my husbands tools,
\nAnd one more for my kids’ stuff, just for show.<\/p>\n
So please have pity on us poor clutter bugs who can’t seem
\nto organize their junk,
\nand lawnmower, snowblowers, garden tools and kids bikes,
\nScooters and strollers and stuff
\nWill all fit nicely in our lovely shed!<\/p>\n
If I had a new shed,
\nYa ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
\nAll day long I’d biddy biddy bum.
\nIf I had a new A shed.
\nI wouldn’t have to work hard.
