I’ve been working really hard on writing singing telegrams for the teachers for our school’s teacher appreciation week next week, and I think I’m finally almost ready. I just finished this one, let me know what you think.
\nIt’s sung to the tune of MY FAVORITE THINGS<\/p>\n
Reading and music and artwork and spelling;
\nAdding, subtracting and good story telling;
\nAdjectives, adverbs and all parts of speech;
\nThese are some things that a teacher will teach.<\/p>\n
Coming in early to plan out your lessons
\nHelping the kids with their big backpack messes
\nRecess and dodgeball, walking the halkwalk;
\nTeachers at Highland Elementary ROCK! <\/p>\n
Grading the homework and giving the tests;
\nYou work so hard and we think you\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2re the best;
\nWe\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2d like to thank you for all that you do;
\nWe think you\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2re great and the kids think that, too.<\/p>\n
When the kids scream,
\nOr they throw up,
\nWhen You\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2re feeling sad,
\nYou simply remember how much they love you
