I just got a call from a number I didn’t recognize, and the man said, “is this Paige?” and I said yes. He said, “This is Jenna’s bus driver, and we’re going to be a bit late. Our power steering went out, and we’re waiting for a mechanic. So, you can come and meet us where we are, or I can just bring her home when we’re done here.” Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a call from any of my kids’ bus drivers before. Since John just barely fell asleep on the couch watching Amazing race reruns with me, I don’t feel like waking him up to go and pick her up, so I’ll just let her wait while they fix the bus or send a new one. “That’s kind of exciting,” I said to the busdriver, and said “I’ll just watch for her a bit late, then.” <\/p>\n
