{"id":475,"date":"2007-02-27T09:09:30","date_gmt":"2007-02-27T15:09:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/2007\/02\/27\/thanks-for-the-support\/"},"modified":"2007-02-27T09:09:30","modified_gmt":"2007-02-27T15:09:30","slug":"thanks-for-the-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/?p=475","title":{"rendered":"Thanks for the support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for your encouraging comments.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 I did make it through the day, sneezing and all.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Although this isn&#8217;t a blog about my quest to go without sugar, I just have to talk about it for a bit more before I can move on.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 So, if this bores you, just click on to someone more interesting, ok?<\/p>\n<p>This has nothing to do with religion, this quest.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s really to prove to myself that I can do something.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 And, yes, I&#8217;d like to lose some weight in the process.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 My last three attempts to lose weight have failed, and I find myself stuck at the same weight as I have been for about two years now.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s hard on your self esteem, when you try and try again and find yourself failing time after time.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 I realized that food is\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 controlling me.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 When I walk through the kitchen and see a half eaten pop tart, I would pick it up and eat it.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Whether I was hungry or not.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 I hadn&#8217;t thought before how much I would like a pop tart, but there it was on the counter and I didn&#8217;t want to waste it, so PoP it would go, into my mouth.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Yesterday, someone toasted a pop tart and then realized that there were waffles in the freezer, so they gave the pop tart to John, and ate waffles instead.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 John, being the picky eater that he is, left the pop tart on the counter.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 I had to walk by it several times, and finally I asked him if he even wanted it.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 He said no, and I (brace yourself!)
