On the way back from taking my daughter and her friend to take dance pictures (SO CUTE, by the way!), it was non-stop talking.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 This friend of Jenna’s,(I’ll call her “B”) in fact, has an opinion on everything, and seems to think she’s an expert in many things.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 If she were my daughter, I’d probably blog about nothing else.<\/p>\n
B:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “Look over there at those birds!\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 They are going to get shocked on that power thingy!”
\nJ:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “I hope they are careful.”<\/p>\n
B:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “If you touched one of those power things, you could get shocked.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 And petrified.”<\/p>\n
J:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “Uh-huh.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Only I don’t know what that is.”<\/p>\n
B:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “Neither do I, but it will happen to you.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Unless you are wearing gloves.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Those guys that work on those things wear big thick gloves.”<\/p>\n
J:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “Even mittens.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 If they wear mittens they won’t get hurt.”<\/p>\n
B:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “Or be unconscious.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 That’s when you go to sleep and you don’t wake up for a long time.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Like until midnight!”<\/p>\n
(At this point I felt it my duty as a mom to give them a little lecture about how power lines will still hurt you even if you were wearing gloves, and how you should never ever touch a power line if you see one on the ground.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 They just went right on with new topics.)<\/p>\n
B:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “Hey, I just saw a deer!\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 I mean, not a deer, a bear!\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 I saw a BEAR over there on the mountain!”<\/p>\n
J:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “Oh, me, too!”<\/p>\n
B:\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 “And I see it’s cave.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 There’s it’s cave with a little bear cub inside!”<\/p>\n
(Imaginative, that one.)<\/p>\n

Yes, it was cute.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 About as much cuteness as I could stand.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 At this time I say a silent prayer of thanks that the dance studio is really quite close to my house, and make a mental note to not sign up for things with this girl that are more than a 10 minute’s drive.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Because I don’t know if I can stand that much cute conversation on the drive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
