I&#8217;ve had it in this frame and on the wall for about a year and a half.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/054.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/054-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"054\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/054-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/054-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I never loved the frame or the way I matted it.  I took a frame, added a mat that didn&#8217;t quite fit, and just made it work.  It cut off a little too much of the picture, and I wasn&#8217;t too jazzed about the colors, but I didn&#8217;t want to pay to have it professionally matted and framed, and I was honestly a little intimidated to take it to a place and have them do that.  Scared for no reason?  Probably.  <\/p>\n<p>Today, for some reason, I got it in my head that I was going to repaint that frame and change it.  And when I decide to do a project, it&#8217;s best to just go ahead and do it.  <\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m glad I did.  Although taking the glass out of a frame and getting it back in right?  About impossible.  NEVER take the glass out.  I&#8217;m just sayin&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/055.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/055-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"055\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/055-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/paige.ericksonfamily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/055-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I LOVE how it turned out.  That awkward maroon mat is gone forever, and I think this shows off the painting better.
