Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE a contest. I just love to win things, don’t you? Well, I also love to give things away, and so do a lot of other bloggers out there. 
Hence, the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival was born. You can click on over there to enter lots and lots of contests this week, if you’d like.
As for me, I’m in the celebratin’ mood. And it’s NOT too early to start listening to Christmas music, contrary to what my husband thinks.
I would like to offer you, lovely reader, a copy of the newly released CD Rejoice and be Merry! Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle featuring the King’s Singers.
This concert last year was absolutely fabulous, and I enjoyed being a tiny part of it. My hands down, listen to it over and over again song from this concert would have to be “O Holy Night.” You can listen to it here, if you’d like a little preview. As I listened to the King’s Singers performing this song, I thought, “this is what heaven sounds like”. Is that not the most beautiful arrangement of ‘Oh Holy Night’ you’ve ever heard? And I think it would be worth it to buy this CD JUST for that song. But no, that’s not the only song on the CD! My other favorites include “Sussex Carol”, “Rejoice and be Merry”, and “Angels from the Realms of Glory”. Why yes, those are all songs with featuring the handbell choir, how did you know?

My favorite Christmas song? Well, right now it is Feliz Navidad because that’s what my 2 year old daughter keeps singing already. I do love the Forgotten Carols though. Thank you for a great giveaway – I have one MoTab Christmas CD but it is from forever ago. I’d love a newer one 🙂 Thank you!

I love “Oh, Holy Night”. It is my all time favorite. I would love this cd!
My favorite song is “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams. Everytime I hear it I get totally in the holiday mood.
My other favorite song is Silent Night, which I love to sing in church durning Candlelight Service.
I bet this CD is beautiful. We recently purchased Josh Grobin’s Christmas CD which is WONDERFUL!! I would love to add this CD to our holiday collection.

I was actually planning on buying this one this Christmas because I love both MoTab and The King Singers. I got to hear King Singers with the Utah Symphony a while back and it was amazing! I love that song and they do it so well. I watched it twice to try and find you. At first I thought you were playing violin but then I thought maybe it was you behind the harp. Am I even close? I really did try! I really hope I win this one so I don’t have to buy it. BTW, GREAT idea for a giveaway!

O Holy Night has always been my favorite. The Mormon Tabernacle Chior’s version gave me goosebumps. So lovely. I think you are the flutist I saw ever so briefly, but you could have also been the harpist! Am I even close? I might have to watch it again!

I love love love almost all Christmas songs (not the new-agey or really hard or emo rock ones, to me those aren’t “Christmas” songs)! Mary Did You Know and O Come Emmanuel are 2 of my very favorites….
At first I thought maybe you were one of the flutists, but I really think you are the blonde violinist on the end….but you did mention the bell choir (although I didn’t see them on O Holy Night)…so my vote is for the violinist on the end 😉
Oh, I would love this! My parents went to the concert last year and said it was fantastic. One of my favorite Christmas songs is “What Child is This.” I love the melody, and I’ve played a few different violin arrangements of it that are gorgeous.
