The Trials of a Busy Mom

What the heck is going on around here?

This morning, John lovingly carried the jar of peanut butter to the counter, and gave it a kiss. Yes, the boy loves his pb.

I had to bribe Megan with candy to do her piano practicing, and even that wasn’t fun. That girl just doesn’t enjoy practicing. Too bad for you, kiddo, since you are not allowed to quit piano until you are 16! (evil laugh ha ha ha)

Robin took off with her kids to go see some sights in Salt Lake. Her son Jacob whined and complained that she was dragging him away. Away from what? I ask you? Jobs and piano practicing? Nothing exciting going on here, I tell you, but still, he’d rather be here. Thanks for the complement!

I haven’t seen Cole since I told him to stop reading that Harry Potter book and get dressed. I suspect he took the Harry Potter book with him to go and get dressed, and he’s still reading it. Probably still not dressed. Today is Harry Potter’s birthday party at our library. We go every year, and it’s usually a fun event, but with WAY too many kids there. This year you had to sign up for a time slot, so maybe it won’t be so absolutely crowded. Maybe.

And me? I just wasted too much time watching phone guy.

I just about stopped reading after you mentioned the peanut butter kiss! What is it with kids and peanut butter? Don’t get me wrong a spoonful is good, but if I am not careful Zoe will be sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor with the jar between her legs and finger trails in the pb! Oh not to mention all over her face in attempt to eat as much as possible before I catch her. I have to bribe her with a spoonful before and after she eats it on bread or she wouldn’t eat it! Kids!

    yummmmmmmmm peanut butter
Has John ever eaten it straight from the jar?
I have LOL now you are thinking arrrrr Ive meet a glutenous pig
    but its yummy
I do have to control it but I can and do 🙂

I use to play the guitar as a child but I never wanted to practise
I strongly urge Megan to do so
recently I realized I could have been a much better guitar player had I just practiced although I had years of guitar lessons I never got very far because of the lack of practise
    such a waste
I now wish I could play and Ive alwasys wanted to play the piano I have nice long fingers but i was never given the opportunity
Megan the practise will pay off in the long term
Dont be like me Megan and one day look back and wish you had taken the time its kinda too late now
