The Trials of a Busy Mom

Me and E.T.

I’m not usually a fan of Reese’s Pieces. I’d rather just have M&M’s, wouldn’t you? But my peanut butter levels must be low, because today at the store, I saw the little peanut butter guys and impulsively bought a package. And I ate most of them! What’s up with that?! Maybe I’m low on some vital nutrient found only in Reece’s Pieces.

Low PB levels will do that to you every time!

I love Reese’s Pieces – and did you know they don’t have chocolate in them? That’s a big plus for me – also I LOVE peanut butter. Maybe you’re just coming around to the right side! 😉

For some reason, if I ever start eating Reese’s pieces I CANNOT STOP. All agency, out the window. Out of my control.

I missed the penguin post during my hiatus, glad I went back and checked. Your dreams put my pregnancy-induced dreams to shame. And craving Reese’s, huh? Is there something we need to know?

And Heidi’s dress–we totally lucked out on that. We found it in a dress shop in the garment district when we were in NYC. Originally it was $600, but since most girls don’t wear anything like that anymore (more slinky and sexy), it was the last one of its kind and marked way down. When I found out it was the only one left, I knew it would need sizeable alterations (from an 8 to a 4 for starters), so I talked them down even more. I ended up paying $112, then add $115 for alterations (which was a bit more than I thought). So about $225, and she had a one-of-a-kind. All her other dresses have been way cheaper–$98, $12(Nordstrom’s Last Chance special), $30, and borrowed from a friend. So I didn’t feel too bad paying that for it, averaged out with all the others. It’ll be here before you know it!

Once, a long time ago, Jason and I went to the movies with some gift certificates. We had a few dollars left over, so we spent it at the snack bar – on a HUGE bag of Reeses Pieces! We put the bag between us and shared it during the movie. I felt so sick by the end, but it was worth it – I love those things!

I can’t believe this post has 4 comments, and the penguin dream one, only one!

You guys (gals) are obsessed with Reeses’ pieces!

They are really yummy. And the important – vital nutrient you may have been low on is the scrse molocule, more commonly known as sugar 🙂
