Saturday we went and saw the premier of the Astronaut Farmer. Since I had a bunch of passes and couldn’t find people to go with us, we took the two oldest kids. It was rated PG. I have to say, it was a REALLY good family movie. The kids Loved it, and I give it 3 1/2 stars (out of 4). Even though Billy Bob Thornton may be kind of an odd duck, I’ve quite enjoyed a few of his movies. In fact, Bandits was one of my favorites. So, if you want to go and see a great movie, one which the kids would even enjoy and there’s very little offensive material (a little swearing, but nothing too harsh), go and see the Astronaut Farmer.
In other news, I’ve been writing some Limericks for (what else?) a radio contest, and this is the latest one I’ve come up with:
My husband, he loves the Race
They travel all over the place
He loves seeing Phil
Next Sunday he will
There’ll be a big smile on his face.
