It’s either a major allergy season thing I’ve woken up with, or someone has given me their cold. SNURRRF. Excuse me while I blow my nose, yet again. BLEART. Ok. I feel slightly better. Is anyone else suffering with a stuffy nose, watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, sore throat and just wants to go back to bed? Or is it just me? I think I’ll go dig through the medicines and see if there’s something that can make me feel better, since I have to teach primary today and can’t just go back to bed and sleep it off. Cold-eez, here I come.
I am so sorry you have what might be a cold. Lots of people seem to be getting summer colds now. Hope you found something to help your symptoms so you could go “have fun” in Primary.
praying for you
hope u get better soon
Every fall since I have moved to Utah, I wake up and have to blow my nose about 20 times. By about 10:00 am all of the symptoms are gone. Hopefully, that is all you are dealing with. Toothsome #3 has had a runny nose for months now.
Hey Paige – this is a little random, but do you know how to do the thing where you have a link at the end of a post that says “more…” so that people only click on that if they want to read the rest of it? You’ve been doing this a lot longer than I have, and I’m not a computer guru. Do you know how to do that?
Kristy,
I would think that doing a ‘summary’ of your blog post would be more of a feature of your blogging software than the actual post itself.
i.e. in WordPress, that Paige uses, in the ‘Advanced Post Editing’ page, there’s a section entitled ‘Excerpt’, that if you put the portion of the post you want to be before the ‘more…’ tag, it’ll show only the excerpt until they click it.
If you’re using something else to blog, you would do it differently. So far, I don’t think Paige uses the Excerpt feature…
🙂

Thanks Ryan – I’ve tried to see what options there are in blogspot but I haven’t figured it out yet. At least I maybe know what to look for!
