There’s another book exchange going on at Overwhelmed with Joy. I’ve received several books from people, and although I would love to pass them on, I have to admit that I haven’t finished reading them, yet. I’m actually in the middle of about 3 books right now.
So, I’m offering a special book this month. It’s a wonderful book for children and adults called “I chose you”.
Children come in all sorts of sizes, shapes, and colors. And they come with unique talents, gifts, interests, likes, and dislikes. I Chose You celebrates those differences as it reminds parents of the one thing all children have in common: the need to feel loved. This beautifully illustrated book reminds us that few moments shape children’s character as much as the moments that they feel love from their parentsâ€â€those special times that tell them they are valuable and cherished just for who they are.
I have a special love for this beautiful book, since it was illustrated by none other than my talented sister, Amy. You can see more of Amy’s work here. And if you think you’d like this book to read to your kids or for a Christmas gift and you don’t win it, there are some used ones here for very reasonable prices.

There are so many excellent children’s books… I’ll Love You Forever by Robert Munsch is a wonderful one. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, my kids loved these… Is Your Mama a Lama. So many!

how fun! i am a huge children’s lit fan–it was one of my favorite classes at BYU. one of my favorite latest find is “A bad case of the stripes” by david shannon. it’s a great one.
Oh WOW.. me and Connor would LOVE to have this book. Our favorites right now are where the wild things are, pokey little puppy, and fairies gift 🙂
