The Trials of a Busy Mom

You’ve gotta have art

I’ve mentioned my sister and her fabulous artwork before, right? Well, now you have a chance to OWN some of her pieces. She’s made prints of some of her drawings that have been used on Music and the Spoken Word, and they are available for purchasing (at very reasonable prices, I might add). During the month of January a
12″ x 16″–$15
11″ x 14″–$12
8″ x 10″–$8
And to add to the fun and excitement, I’ve decided to do a little giveaway!

These are just a few of the ones she has to offer.

Here’s what you do: Click over to Amy’s blog site and see which of her prints you like the best. You can leave her a little love in the form of comments if you want, just to let her know you were there. Then come back here and leave a comment and let me know which of those lovely prints you would like. I will draw a winner on Friday, and that person will be able to have an 8 x 10 of their choice. If you want a bigger size, I’ll apply the 8 x 10 cost, but you’ll have to pay the rest.

And while you’re at it, you might also want to check out her gorgeous portraits. She’s done these of my kids, and we just LOVE them. She can do portraits from photos, if you are interested in having beautiful pictures of your kids hanging on your walls (as opposed to your kids hanging all over you, which you probably already have, right?)This is one of my favorites:

So, click away, enter the contest, and then come back on Friday to see if you’ve won!
(Members of my family are not eligible for this contest, by the way.)

I really like the one she did of the tree. It’s beautiful.
And the portrait she did for you is so beautiful too! I would love to have talent like that.

I’m not entering the contest (I’m a family member) but thanks for all the nice comments, Paige! You really know how to make your artist little sister happy.

So can you see the guy on the Mayflower throwing up over the side in the 8×10?

I would love to win one!! 🙂 I love the Mayflower one (and the story behind it!), and I also love the one where they make it to the shore. 🙂

She does such an awesome job!!! Yayy! 🙂

Your sister has talent! I have no artistic ability at all, so winning one of these would be fabulous. I love the Mayflower one.

What? I didn’t win, even after I put a shout out to you on my blog? Oh well, I will just shoot the lock off my wallet and buy one. 😉
